asked by: a guest Do you know if this will work for Shimano BR-R650 brakes?
A.
anwered by: canteau 6700 shifters pull more cable than their predecessors (650 series) so they will allow older calipers to have more pad clearance but will require a bit more hand pressure to obtain the same braking response, and/or slight adjustments in the cable. That said, cyclists have had success using these components together in the past.

asked by: a guest I have a BR-7800 front Drua Ace brake. Do you know if this will work as a replacement??
A.
anwered by: canteau Shimano does have a different part number listed for the BR7800, that we can no longer order, but from what I can tell from the tech docs, the bolts seem the same. This looks like it should work.
