XT M8010 12mm Thru-Axle 11-Speed Rear Centerlock Disc Hub

If you have always loved the performance and value Shimano XT hubs have offered but thought that the move to a frame with a thru-12 axle meant seeking out another brand, now have an option with the XT FH-M8010. The XT M8010 rear hub is designed to work with all 12x142mm frames and does not include the axle which should be supplied with the frame.

The Shimano XT FH-M8010 Rear Hub is designed to work with 8-11 speed cassettes and features a quicker engagement vs the out going M780 rear hub. XT hubs are not compatible with Shimano 11-speed road or SRAM 11-speed cassettes.

Shimano's CenterLock disc rotor mount provides even pressure across the disc rotor, making it less likely to warp due to uneven torque. CenterLock rotors are offered by most major disc brake brands and install with a lockring tool which can be found here.

Shimano''s dual contact bearing seals keep out dirt, dust and water. The bearing races have been polished to reduce friction and are complimented by angular contact bearings.
