I noticed when the Spurcycle appeared in the marketplace but did not pay much attention until a friend put one on his bike. None of my previous bells came close to the exceptional build quality and the incredibly clear and lingering tone of the Spurcycle. The price will scare some people away but this precision gem is truly worth every nickel. Beautifully engineered bell! I have one of these and am purchasing another for my other bike. Expensive but a lifetime piece. Broken so many lesser bells on my mountain bike but this one seems really tough. Also has a nice ring (which is really helpful and polite on multi-use trails!). Easy to mount.

Purchased the bell based on the videos i saw of its size and loudness works just like described. Nice and compact yet packs a punch.

Got one of these for my mtb and am buying another for my road bike. Wonderful, clear, long lasting ding that alerts folks but doesn't shock or annoy them. looks cool, too.

Don't worry about the price - it's worth every penny! The look of the bell has been copied by some knock-offs, but the quality of the material and workmanship is clearly different - and the biggest difference is the sound. This is a pure, loud, classy, informative sound that isn't irritating, childish, scary but clear and distinct and plenty loud-enough for walkers and others to hear. I especially love its simplicity in the look, and it doesn't take up much handlebar space. Yeah, you can go cheap and end up replacing the cheapo knock-off, or being dissatisfied with the sound quality and volume and spending more money in a few months or you can pay the bill now for quality. IMO.

High quality with a very pleasant yet loud sound. My first bike bell to actually get compliments from pedestrians at the sound. Easy install. I have on two bikes and am putting on a third.

Not as loud as advertised. My $5 plastic whistle is louder and gets people's attention better than this high priced bell. The tightening screw stripped as I was installing. I emailed Spurcycle customer service and have not gotten a response. TREE FORT BIKES , as always, deserves a 5 star rating. The item was shipped quickly.
