After riding this hub for a while now, I've got to say that it works exactly as expected and then some. The hub spins very freely and doesn't display the notchiness that exists in low end hubs. Add the powerful drum brake into the equation and the combination becomes even more attractive. The bang for the buck that Sturmey-Archer brings to the table with this hub is hard to beat.
