A GuestI've had three different Sturmey hubs laced into my current rim. The first two were very old ones that were pulled from other bikes and I rode them until they wore out (after many many many miles).
This is the first new one I've bought. Tree Fort Bikes is great. Price was good and they shipped fast. The new Sturmey hubs are great too. The flange size is the same (or really darn close) to the old hubs. So, if you're swapping your old Sturmey for a new one this will work with your current spokes. You can also use your old shifter and cables...if you're happy with them. The new Sturmeys seem to have beefier axle nuts made from better alloys than the old Sturmey hubs.
I've only put about 200 miles on this hub so far, but I'm very happy with it.

runwayfourMade my first home built bike and built my first home made rear wheel with this hub. The instructions left a little (and just a tiny little) to interpretation but thanks to the internet I was able to figure out anything that wasn't clear.
I've put about 30 miles on it so far, works great, love having the 3 gears on my city bike.
Would have liked to had the option to buy it with downtube shifters instead of the trigger one, but not a huge deal. :)
