princejlThis was a solid upgrade that works well on my frame after changing to a 110 crank from the 113 that came with the bike. The longer spindle wouldn't work with that crank. I changed to a 24 granny as i love to carry cooking and sleeping gear on long rides up the coast. The right gearing can make all the difference! The 46 is high enough and the 36 makes it less nessesary to bang down into the granny for most hills when not fully loaded. (The bike I mean). I am having a little.trouble going from the big to the middle chainring, but i expect to work that out or learn to live with over shifting a tad to get the shift completed.

A Guestthese came stock on my surly lht in 2007. I've ridden appx. 6500 miles and the cranks are still going strong with the original BB. Just had to replace the middle and outer rings from wear, and I'm looking forward to riding for several more years.

A GuestI installed this crank, 170mm, on a Surly LHT (26 in) with a 113mm bottom bracket, the 110mm would prob work as well. I think a 48 tooth large ring would be better for down hill speed than the 46 tooth this model has.

A GuestPut these on my 1998 Cannondale H300 "hybrid," which was due for some replacement parts and upgrades. These cranks are very reasonably priced, they have a traditional, classy looking design and silver finish, and the 26-36-46 gearing is low enough for steep ups, and plenty big for downs. Just about every other replacement crank I saw on the market looks too mod for my taste, costs too much, has black rings or arms, or has gearing that's a little too low (usually 22-32-42 or thereabouts) or a little too high, for my purposes. These are the Goldilocks, just right cranks.

A GuestWanted to replace the cheap original rivited steel crank that has already started warping and begin creating a good touring bike. I needed to order a new bottom bracket and tool to make this work on my bike but the bottom bracket was probably of poor quality anyway. I changed to a 24t granny and i have been totaly happy. A good price too.

rmerlinoInstalled this crank on a 700C Surly Long Haul Trucker which I intend to use for touring and general road riding. It looks good, is pretty light, and looks like it will hold up to some abuse. I wish it had a 48 tooth large ring. I will probably be buying an aftermarket 48t big ring.

A GuestIt's a beauty for the price, and is usually available in many different lengths. It fits right onto a Shimano double spindle, so you shouldn't have to open your BB if you are going from a double to a triple. The only strange detail is the chainring selection across different crank arm lengths. The larger chainring option on the longer crank arms makes too wide of a range for most front derailleurs. The smaller one that comes with the shorter cranks doesn't make as much top end speed, but it's much more practical.

A GuestBought this to replace a 175mm cheapo mtn crankset on a 2009 Raleigh 'Cadent' FT1. I really wanted something that offered approximately the same gear ratios but had shorter cranks and square taper interface. Being from Sugino, they're very well made. Swapped out the stock 122.5 bb for a 118, lowered the front derailleur a bit, shortened the chain a few links and we were in business.

A GuestI installed this crank on a Pake C'Mute. 170mm crank arm.107mm B.B. Great range of gears for hills and flats. Shifts great, nice finish on crank arms.

agibblegood economical solid crank. needs 110mm bottom bracket for normal road touring bike. you could get away with a 107mm though.

A GuestI am using this crank on a Velo Orange Randonneur bike, with a 110 BB and 9-speed chain cassette. Works great.
