asked by: a guest Will this shifter be happy with a Shimano road derailleur? Specifically 7800 dura ace?
A.
anwered by: isteinhoff Generally, yes. So long as you are running a 9 speed cassette. Most of the 00's 8-9-10 speed stuff could run on various shifters, with less finiky 2:1 pull ratios being used at that particular time. The generation before that was dependent on running the cable on one side of the derailleur pinch bolt or the other.

Ordered a few sets of these because I had been reading about them... These are super nice! Well made, look great, all metal, and snappy "click"! And the price is so reasonable! Get them before they get popular and disappear!!!
The shifter works well as it should. It works a little stiffer than I would like. Replaced it with Shimano Altus SL-M2010-R 9 Speed Rapidfire Plus Shifter. This shifter is much more ergonomic and finger trigger and thumb shifter is easier to shift.
Really happy with this shifter. The click feels great, and I love the ability to shift all across the cassette with one sweep of my thumb. Will absolutely buy again.
