Since Sun Ringle introduced the MuleFut 80SL Fat Rim a few years ago, it has quickly become one of the best selling fat bike rims because they are fairly lightweight, set up tubeless easy and strong enough for all season use. The Sun Ringle MuleFut 80SL V2 builds on the success of the original and takes it a set further by optimizing the cut-outs to a new trapezoid shape that increases the strength of the MuleFut 80SL and improves the tire profile. Sun Ringle's STR tubeless bead locks onto the tire even at low pressures to almost eliminate "burping" that can be caused by hookless beads.

Front MuleFut 80SL V2 Wheels feature Sun Ringle''s lightweight 15x150mm SRC front hub will fully sealed bearings. Sun Ringle worked with their sibling company WheelSmith to design both the front and rear SRC hub hub flanges to optimize the shape and size for strength, ride quality and more even spoke tension. Sun Ringle MuleFut 80SL V2 wheels are built with double butted WheelSmith spokes that have been treated with SpokePrep to reduce binding and easier service year after year.

Sun Ringle MuleFut V2 wheels include rim strip, tubeless tape, STR valve and a bottle of STR tire sealant.
