This Surly 12x142mm thru-axle is designed to let you run a 12x142mm rear hub on a Surly MDS thru-axle compatible frame like the Instigator 2.0, Karate Monkey and Krampus frames with MDS Chips. This thru-axle will not work with newer Surly frames that use Gnot-Boost rear dropouts, we do carry the Gnot-Boost thru-axle here.
