The newest tire in Surly's Knard tire line-up is the 27.5plus version that can be found rolling stock on the re-designed Surly ECR 27.5plus. Like the other versions of the Knard, the 27.5plus tire has tightly spaced fast rolling tread for rocky and hardpacked surfaces.
With a 3" casing the 27.5plus Knard has an inflated diameter that is the same as a traditional 29er but with a wider footprint and tire volume for comfort and control.
