Ogre Bikepacking/Touring Bike

We take extra care to ensure your bike arrives ready to ride. Our meticulous build and testing process takes about 4 business days before your bike is ready to ship.
This attention to detail guarantees that your bike will be easy to assemble on arrival. Please note that most bikes do not come with pedals. To make the most of your new bike right away, be sure to select a pair of pedals when checking out and we will include them with the build!For 2017 the Surly Ogre received a similar treatment as the Surly Troll did last year:

• Horizontal slotted dropouts with Gnot-Boost spacing
• A tweaked non-suspension corrected geometry, 
• A larger tire clearance (29x2.5" or 27.5x3.0")

To allow the Ogre to work with 27.5plus tires, Surly designed a new chainstay yoke to clear larger tires without sacrificing chainrings or crank options.

Surly knows the best way to carry stuff is on the bike vs on your back or pockets, that's why Surly now includes more mounts on the Ogre. Mounting options now include:

• 2 sets of bottle mounts
• 4 sets of 3-pack bosses
• Mid and Low fork eyelets
• Threaded holes for racks, fenders, and trailer mounting nuts 

Complete Surly Ogre builds include a Shimano 3x10-speed touring group, Avid BB7 disc brakes, Surly Moloko handlebar and Surly ET 29x2.5" tires. WARNING: Cycling involves risks.
