Trucker Kickstand Plate

Excellent product & shipped faster than expected. Does the job well & allowed me to mount a double-leg kickstand on my Surly Disc Trucker touring bike without risking damage to the chainstays. Surly's website recommends against mounting kickstands to the chainstays without this adapter, and for good reason- the chainstays on the LHDT are rather thin & do look like they could be damaged by a stand directly on them or over-tightening the bolt/plate that comes standard with most kickstands. This product does a great job of solving that problem. I personally would recommend using grease like Polylube (which is also available from Tree Fort Bikes at the moment) on the bolt before tightening it through the adapter to make sure that it doesn't rust & can be removed or adjusted more easily later on. That's what I did & I'm very happy with how it all looks & feels now. I used this to attach the BV Double-Leg Kickstand to my Surly & couldn't be happier with how it turned out. :)
