Performance socks were the starting point of all the socks that
Swiftwick now produces. The
Performance line starts with the
double welt cuff that has a high level of lycra to keep the sock from sliding down and bunching. The dual density weaved
Olefin sole has open channels to allow good air flow while providing extra cushioning to help reduce hot spots. A
Y-contoured heel allows the socks to move more naturally with the motion of the foot without bunching or shifting.
Mid-foot arch support is provided by a multi-filament band that circles the foot. The
thin weaved upper reduces bulk for a better fit in tighter fitting performance oriented shoes and has air channels to help keep the foot cooler and dryer. To reduce toe chaffing,
Swiftwick Performance socks use a Window Seam that buries the toe seam in the terry loop for reduced friction.
