anonymousI have the 700c version of this, Sparwood, on a bike and love them. They hold air tubeless better than anything I’ve had. This was not a good experience. I rolled the last few inches of bead onto the rim with my bare hands like I have done since my 1990 mountain bike. This sidewall must have warped and got damaged on both front and back. Bead was fully seated, held air for hours without sealant. Tire wobbled and was not centered on the spot I rolled on. Removed, repositioned and put on with a plastic Y shaped tool using all leverage and no rolling of the last few inches of beac. The spots where I previously rolled on were still present and wobbled still after on the bike for many days and reinflating. I figured the sidewalks were permanently warped in those areas and I’d have to eat what I paid for these expensive tires. Guess sidewalls aren’t what the used to be, and I went with the DURABLE version while my Sparwoods are light and supple and just fine. I ordered some Panaracer GravelKings and they were even tougher to get on, but I didn’t take a chance rolling anymore and used my leverage tool only and those are in perfect. This review reflects the poor sidewalls on this product, nothing to do with TreeFort. Ordering from them was great and I may order these again as I really like the tread pattern for my uses and they look great.
