Works fine on my Trek 7.6. I use it with a MTX TrunkBag EX. My seat post is extended about 5 1/2 inches which gives just enough room for the bag to fit behind my seat. I could see a problem if the seat post was lower, the bag might snug up too close to the seat to snap on to the rack.
The hidden compartment is nice to keep small items in, but is too small for many things. I use it to keep extra batteries for my lights. Haven't used the bungee cords yet, but the design is nice and should be handy.
