PF41 ABEC-3 Fat Bike Bottom Bracket for GXP Cranks

Wheels Manufacturing PF41 Bottom Brackets consist of 2-piece machined aluminum shell that threads together to eliminate creaking and shortened bearing life due to poor alignment.

Wheels Manufacturing uses smooth rolling Enduro ABEC-3 bearings. Even with high-quality Enduro ABEC-3 bearings at some point, they will need to be changed, with this in mind Wheels Manufacturing has designed their bottom brackets to be fully rebuildable without the need to replace the entire bottom bracket.

Installation of the Wheels Manufacturing Thread Together Bottom Brackets is a little different than a standard Press Fit bottom bracket. It is recommended that you follow the instructions here and aside from the bearing press and drifts, you will also need a 16 notch 48.5mm wrench.

This Wheels Manufacturing PF41 Bottom Bracket is designed to fit fat bikes with a 121mm bottom bracket shell like the Salsa Beargrease Carbon and Trek Farley carbon and alloy models. This bottom bracket is compatible with GXP cranks that are designed for 100mm bottom bracket shells including SRAM and TruVativ. GXP Bottom Brackets have a 22/24mm taper and are not compatible with 24mm cranks like those offered by Race Face or Surly
