yeschiroThis chain lasted quite a while. Had only ridden KMC chains before, and one Shimano HG93 that snapped the first day I got it. I'm not sensitive enough to notice a change in shifting performance over such a long period, but just purchased my 2nd 920 if that means anything.

DoctorDI replaced my worn 9-spd Shimano Dura Ace with the Wippermann 920 partly for the mild weight savings, and partly for the touted benefits of the teflon coating on the outer surfaces of the chain links. The teflon coating began flaking off during the first ride. After about six rides and subsequent cleanings, the coating is entirely gone. Shifting is fair to middling compared with even the worn chain that the Wippermann replaced. On the plus side, the chain has been durable over a month of use. The Connex link, provided with the chain, is durable, too, and easier to use (in disconnecting and reconnecting the chain) than SRAM's power link, in my estimation.

pea...@sb...l.netSmoothest, strongest chain I've had, even after the Teflon wears off.

A GuestI used this chain to replace my worn Shimano HG93 and was not happy with the results. The blue paint began flaking off right away and was almost entirely removed with some Pedro's degreaser. It was also the noisiest chain I've ever used (Shimano and Sram were both much quieter). When I replaced it with another HG93 my drivetrain was much quieter.
