For Product "Zoom Quick Comfort Adjustable Stem - 22.2-24tpi Quill", the sales description states "22.2-24tpi Quill" while the Specifications describe "S.H.I.S. Stem Clamp Diameter 25.4-24tpi Quill". Please explain. I assume if the steering tube has an inner diameter of 1", this will work. Is this true?

A steerer tube with an inner diameter of 1" will have an outer diameter of 1-1/8" which will not work with this stem. Threaded forks with an OD of 1" will have an ID 22.2mm(7/8") which is what this stem will fit.
