ame92cThese tires roll exceptionally well. They do tend to get loose on you around corners at times. If you want a slightly beefier tire try the IKON. That's my next purchase.

A GuestIt's very hard to find a light tire that has good traction, is fast rolling and durable. This tire has a nice balance. I use it for cross country racing and left it on my bike for trail riding. The center ridge makes for a very fast rolling tire. Climbing on loose, steep techinical trails shows part of the tires' weakness. It also lacks good traction while braking on steeps. I have also torn two sidewalls but I was riding the tire in conditions more suited to a trail tire.

dou...@gm...l.comThese tires are light, fast and simply stick. The trade-off is the durability of the sidewalls - especially if you ride these on rocky trails. Great tires otherwise, but I'm looking for something that's a bit more reliable.

rwi...@gm...l.comI use the Crossmark as a rear tire. It's pretty good. It's relatively light, rolls smoothly, and I haven't punctured one (I ride on some really rocky trails). The biggest down-side is the traction on loose dirt, especially when climbing.

sp2...@gm...l.comI bought these tires in the 29er version, replacing a WTB Stout and Exiwolf. Weight wise, they were a huge improvement. Rolling resistance was remarkably improved. I expected them to work well in the summer with dry conditions, and they have done so. Great traction on roots and rocks here in the Northwest. I expect to remove them for winter riding, but won't do so until they prove the need.

snev2Good fast rolling tire, just watch the side walls.
My front tire already has three cuts or splits where the tube is starting to bulge out.
