A GuestI put nearly 1500 miles on these tires without getting a flat and they barely showed any wear (that's saying something considering the roads here in Michigan). I'm sure I could have put another 1500 miles on them before having to replace them, however, I managed to hit a large piece of "road debris" at about 20 mph which blew out both tires and damaged both rims.
Lesson learned: keep your eyes on the road!

A GuestMy bike is set up for sport, but I use it to commute to work three mornings a week, getting up at dawn to take "the long way" in. I really like a tire that provides good handling characteristics, but also need a reliably durable and puncture resistant tire to ensure I get to work on time. These fit the bill. Grip is adequate in wet weather (I'm a Seattle resident) but very confidence inspiring in the dry. I hope to log many more happy miles on these as the summer progresses.

jim...@ma...c.comThis is my second pair! Love these tires. Best I have ever used. The first pair lasted about 3,000 miles over 3.5 months. The roads I ride are pretty rough with multiple train tracks, country and city roads and I ride in all weather conditions, including in the dark. (Not always possible to miss all road debris or potholes.) I did have 3 flats over the 3.5 months. All three were to my back tire and all were caused by some form of metal debris. The last 2 flats occurred as I was riding on the tires even after they started to fray in the middle. If I had changed the tires earlier I would of only had one flat in 3 months, over about 2,700 miles! Pretty amazing tire! I can't tell you how many times I was forced to ride right over broken glass and other debris, because of traffic, without a problem. Before I tried these tires I was averaging 1 flat per week. These things have saved me a lot of money on tubes! Oh and did I mention they are really fast with great grip in the rain too. Maybe they are not a race tire, but if you ride a lot like me they sure do eliminate frustration! If you live on your bike, you need these tires.

A GuestGood riding and training tire. After about 1000km, I have not had any issues or flats.

spellis1I tried this tire after a great deal of research and reading of reviews. I lost both my factory tires to punctures and broken cords. So far the Michelin has proven worthy of its name, I have about 600 miles on the first tire with no problems. Don't let the smooth tread fool you, they work grear wet or dry. Besides, you don't need tread on a road tire anyway, it's just for looks. P.S. it folds too, great for long rides.

virexalertI bougth 2 sets of tires on 07/20/2010, one for me and the other for the wife. I had 3 flat tires and my wife 1. Replaced mine with the Pro 3 so far Pro 3's no flat tires and much much better handling and less rolling resistance.

A GuestThe tires work great and look great. They are difficult to install since they are pretty stiff. But once they are in place they're great. I haven't had any flat yet after 300 miles or so but I have a feeling it will be tough to change the tube. We'll see, hopefully not too soon.

ltcolumboI am an enthusiast level rider, riding several times a week and average about 4,000 miles a year. These are great tires which last me about 6-8 months and get very few flats which is important to me as I don't like to waste time fixing flats.
They are much better than the tires that came with the bike and I plan to continue using them.

A GuestThese tires really last long time. If I rotate them, I can use them for about 3,500-4,000 miles. I like the price too! Worth every $$.

A GuestI bought these to replace the tires that came with my Specialized Allez. I was happy with the stock tires but after 8 months of daily riding they began loosing traction on hard corners (ouch!), and the wear caused constant tube punctures.
These Krylion's are night and day different. They ride far smoother than the stock rubbers and they take corners like a champ. I haven't owned them long enough to comment on reliability and durability but so far so good.
If I was to comment on any downside to these, it would have to be the difficulty in mounting on the wheel. This is completely expected because they are folding tires, and completely worth the temporary frustration. PS- 2 months in and no flats yet.

amarklinI'm 6'0 and 175lb. My bike came with Continental UltraSport 700cx23s which I liked: gripped really well, seemed fast. However, the rear punctured on a paved bike path in the first 30 miles, so I needed tougher tires. Bought 2 Krylions, inflated to full 116psi. They don't grip as well in cold weather (I'm about 2mph slower on turns and not as confident leaning in) but they appear to be much tougher. No flats in 100 miles on same path. When I rode on a 75-degree day, I found them much more grippy than in 50-degree weather, and I think they'll be fine in the summer.
Nice looking with the red stripes, too.

jim...@ma...c.comI love the durability of these tires however I have also instantly gained at least 1 mph over the stock tire on my 11' Giant TCR Composite. I didn't think I would like the color stripe but it really looks great on my bike. I ride about 160 miles per week in all weather conditions so I was really hoping these tires would work for me. Ride between 21 - 25mph on these tires commuting to work. So far so good... Amazing tires!

dchampionOn my second set with about 2500 miles (not km) on the first, 1000 miles so far on the second. No flats with either so far. Got close to what they claim on milage although I rode em to the cords. I ride all types of road/pavement and have rode over things that made me cringe but they just spit it out.

philjoywMy bike came with Michelin Lithion tires when I purchased it two years ago. I road approx 3000 km with no flats. The beginning of 2011, I wanted to replace my tires since they were starting to show some wear. Many of the guys I ride with swear by Contitinals, so I picked up a set of Continental 4000s tires. Two months ago, I hit a pretty big rock when not reacting from the signal given from in front. The hit took out my side wall (understandable). So, I went to a bike shop and picked up another pair (one as a spare). Two weeks later, I get a puncture. No problem, it was a sharp shard of glass. The next week, another gash in my tire... I couldn't stand it anymore... The Continentals ride beautifully, but were not living up to the demands of daily riding. I put on the Michelins and am very happy with the performance. I was expecting to go a little slower (not the case). These tires are great!

amarklinUpdate to my earlier review. They now have more than 750 miles on them on some really terrible roads with lots of debris. No flats.
I've ridden over lots of stuff that made me literally cringe, and pinched-shot countless rocks off to the side without a single issue. They show very little wear and continue to perform like new. I love these tires!

A GuestBest overall tire I've ever used. Very tough and long lasting. Puncture resistant. Grips well yet relatively low rolling resistance and only a few grams heavier that "light" tires. Well worth the price. The only other tire I've used that comes close is the Continental Ultra Gatorskin but I prefer the Michelin.

cyclist2918I've been using these and their previous iterations for years. I rarely get flats with them and they usually get about 3000 miles out of them. I've routinely worn the one on the rear down to the cords without getting even one flat! They are fairly hard to mount when new, but it can be made easier by mounting it without the tube installed, then taking it off halfway to put the tube in.
