Hello. Is this the shim I'd purchase to use the linked handlebars with a 25.4 mm clamp? https://www.treefortbikes.com/Fairdale-MX-Handlebar-28-Chrome

Yes, that handlebar has a 22.2 mm clamp. This is the correct shim to fit in a 25.4 stem clamp. Thanks!

A GuestI have an 80's road bike with canti brakes. I replaced the headset with a new flashy hi-end Tange (the one with the writing around the outside). Unfortunately the new headset was larger, and the spacer with the brake hanger wouldn't fit on the steerer with the new headset. I had to buy a clamp-on brake hanger (Problem Solvers model also from Tree Fort), and use this as the spacer to make the brake hanger fit the 1" stem.
It works great and I'm not at all disappointed.
